Elevation Psychology is  seeking suitably qualified, psychologists to join our  private practice in Bulimba. 

In particular we are looking for psychologists who can see clients at least 3 days per week.  We are flexible in which days you work and evening shifts and Saturdays would be considered.  The successful person/s will ideally commence as soon as possible but we will work with you to establish a suitable start date.

Note that we will consider newly registered and early career psychologists.

About the Position:

• You will be a fully registered psychologist with eligibility for your own medicare provider number. Professional Indemnity insurance is essential.
• Contract position. Minimum 3 days per week.
• Provide long-term individual counselling to a wide range of clients with a variety of mental health concerns. A specific interest in working with current and former police officers and first responders is desirable.
• Location: Oxford Street, Bulimba
• Administration duties such as case noting, GP reports and letters, and liaising with external services.
• You will report to our practice manager, who is available for support and operational assistance.

• You will be committed to being a part of our team long-term, and developing long-term therapeutic relationships with clients.
• You will have a desire to work in a harmonious team environment.
• You will have experience working within a trauma-informed, evidence based framework.
• You will be willing to work with a broad range of clients from across the lifespan.
• You will have an ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.
• You will have indemnity insurance or be eligible to apply.
• You will be enthusiastic, warm, motivated, organised, and reliable.
• You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are able to work in a self-directed effective manner.
